High Intensity Interval Training (or HIIT) for Runners is designed to support the dynamic moves of great running form. It involves 4×8 mins circuits consisting of 30 second bursts of alternating strength and cardio intervals.
•Body weight strength moves to develop fast twitch muscles for speed and increase the ATP-PC anaerobic energy system.
•Cardio exercises to keep the heart rate burning more body fat and increase aerobic endurance.
All the moves are fully instructed and the intensity is up to you. If you’re at least a regular 5k runner, looking to improve, these classes are ideal for you.
